MAKASSAR — Utusan lecturer Faculty of Engineering University Muslim Indonesia (FT-UMI) takes part in The 8th International Conference on Sustainable Halal Ecosystems which takes place at 28–29 Oktober 2026 di Faculty of Technology Management and Technopreneurship, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Malaysia. Keikutsertaan this becomes section from upaya memperluas jejaring Academic international, improves kualitas research, and strengthens kontribusi lecturer in development ilmu pengetahuan which berorientasi at keberlanjutan.

Achievement membanggakan diraih by Dr. Pratiwi Juniar A. Gani, ST., M.Sc., which obtains penghargaan Best Presenter. Penghargaan the said was provided atas presentasinya which berjudul “Spatial Coexistence Model for Sustainable Tourism Planning in Coastal Informal Settlements: Toward Halal-Friendly Tourism Destinations.”
Karya the said mengangkat model koeksistensi spasial for perencanaan pariwisata berkelanjutan di kawasan permukiman informal pesisir, with orientasi at development destinasi wisata which ramah halal. Topik this menunjukkan relevansi bidang Architecture and perencanaan room in mendukung development pariwisata which memperhatikan keberlanjutan kawasan and kebutuhan masyarakat and pengunjung.
Pencapaian Best Presenter this becomes kebanggaan bagi Faculty of Engineering UMI sekaligus bentuk apresiasi towards kontribusi Academic lecturer in forum scientific international. Achievement the said is expected can mendorong peningkatan kualitas research, publication scientific, and participation aktif lecturer FT-UMI in berbagai konferensi international.
